The River Forest Park District is located at 401 Thatcher Avenue (1/2 block south of Lake Street
on Thatcher Avenue) inside the Metra Station.
Are the fields open?
When not sure if fields are open due to poor weather conditions, dial 802-1314 for field conditions. This rain hot line is updated each day at 3:00 p.m.
Does the Park at Harlem & Lake belong to the RFPD?
The baseball diamond at Harlem and Lake is maintained by the River Forest Park District, however the property belongs to the Cook County Forest Preserve. For information, dial

How do I register for your programs?
There are three ways in which to register for recreation programs. 1) Come to The Depot, 401 Thatcher Avenue, with cash or check between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and
4:30 pm. 2) Register on-line here, with any major credit card. If you register
on-line, there is a 6.5% service fee. 3) You may download our registration form, complete the form, and deposit it at any hour in our drop-slot at
The Depot, 401 Thatcher Avenue.
Do you rent out any space for parties or showers?
We do rent out space for parties. For details, you may contact Patty Peleschak at (708) 366-6660 xt. 102. We have recently instituted a themed birthday party package,
which is held at The Depot, 401 Thatcher Avenue, with Park District staff organizing food and games for up to 15 children, 2 adults. You may contact Karen Scherrer at the Park District for details - (708) 366-6660 xt. 104.
