Whether you are looking to play casually in our recreational league or competitively with one of our traveling teams, you'll find River Forest Youth Baseball & Softball to be a great place to learn new skills and meet new friends.
Registration is held from December 1-February 1 with guaranteed placement by February 1. Pending space availability, late fees apply after February 1.
River Forest Youth Soccer (RFYS) is a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to provide soccer opportunities to children who live or attend school in River Forest. RFYS is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who serve as Board members and coaches. RFYS is affiliated with IYSA, Illinois Youth Soccer Association. We are not an AYSO organization.
RFYS offers spring and Fall Youth Soccer leagues for children in Kindergarten-8th grade.
The Chicago Edge Soccer Club, a non-profit organization, provides competitive players in the Oak Park and River Forest communities a travel soccer experience with an environment of good sportsmanship and character building. Professionally trained coaches help committed players develop excellence in individual and team soccer skills, all while focusing on individual and long-term development.
Oak Park and River Forest's Youth Travel Soccer Club:
- creates soccer teams that combine youth players of a similar skill level;
- provides a focused and specialized coaching approach for each team resulting in each players accelerated soccer development;
- fosters a positive atmosphere to build confidence and character in a supportive
- environment;
- places teams in their appropriate divisions so that all youth players benefit from a competitive soccer game and practice experience.
