The month of May is Older American's Month, and the Village of Oak Park, River Forest, and Forest Park have proclaimed the week of May 11-18 Celebrating Seniors Week. This week-long celebration will highlight and recognize the significant contributions older adults make to our communities. Over 15 community-wide organizations that offer services to seniors will be hosting programs and special events during Celebrating Seniors Week, while local businesses show their support by offering discounts and promotions to older adults.
