2027 Consolidated Election

Serving on A Park District Board

Prospective candidates seeking the office of Park Commissioner for the River Forest Park District for the Consolidated Election on April 6, 2027, may pick up sample document packets at The Depot, 401 Thatcher Avenue, River Forest, IL beginning August 25, 2026, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Potential candidates can begin circulating petitions on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Materials can be found at www.cookcountyclerkil.gov.

Candidate petitions or certificates of nomination will be accepted from November 16, 2026, through November 23, 2026, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (until 5:00pm on November 23) at The Depot, 401 Thatcher Avenue, River Forest, IL.

There are three seats available for four-year terms.
