Traveling Foresters Volleyball Information
Teams will be formed for 5th & 6th grade girls to participate in competitive play against other traveling teams. Team rosters will be limited to fourteen members, based upon try-out sessions. The primary criterion for team selection is the ability to perform related volleyball skills. Those who make the team will be committing to a pre-set practice and game schedule. Playing time will be at the discretion of the coach; practice time will be equal for all team members. Those who will miss games and/or practices for avoidable reasons are advised not to try-out! Practices will be at Willard School on Mondays 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Thursdays at the River Forest Community Center from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This program is not just a recreational program! Therefore the coaches have discretion to make all of the decisions for their teams. Those not making the team will have their application fee refunded upon the conclusion of the try-outs. Submission of the form and fee constitutes agreement of the above conditions. Please read and understand them! Play will start in January and continue through the end of April. Away games will be played at various locations. Games will be on weekday afternoons or evenings, while others will be played on weekends. Please note that players are responsible for their own transportation; the best procedure is to create car pools for the season. (A parent’s driver’s schedule may be organized by the coach.) The fee is R$200/NR$250 per player.
